On the heels of its highly successful summer project, Beauty Is A Beast, CrossOver Arts is pleased to open its 2012/13 season at the Desoto Corner Theater with a musical version of award winning playwright, D. M. Larson’s Christmas classic “Ebony Scrooge."

​​Directed by Kathi Baker, this light-hearted, modern day take on Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol," is a delightfully joyous holiday journey through a world of spirits and ghost as a miserly restaurateur, Ebony Scrooge (Ariana Cook) learns the true meaning of Christmas.  With the help of a talented young ensemble of carolers and several sprightly ghosts, musical director Jon Raveneau’s original songs, eclectic arrangements and choreographer JuNene K’s fanciful dances make this a holiday treat.
